Our measurement technology
MyRoofGenius starts with an address, checks available public USGS 3DEP LiDAR and GIS context, and labels the result honestly: 3D roof planes when coverage supports them, fallback trace or sketch when it does not. That gives you pitch, facets, square footage, assumptions, and review notes without pretending it is a certified survey.

Why we built this
We didn't build MyRoofGenius in a conference room. We built it because we were the ones on the roof, in the bid, and on the hook when a wrong measurement cost a crew a day and the invoice for that wrong number showed up anyway. We spent years on systems where a number being off had real consequences, and we got tired of guessing, tired of black boxes, and tired of paying a toll every time we needed to know what a roof actually was.
